Tulipe Noire Clothing strives to support local businesses and organizations in the Victoria community. For 15 years, owner Kari McLay has created strong relationships with other Victoria business owners who also share a passion for giving back.
Tulipe Noire Clothing is proud to have partnered with Dance Victoria for many years! Tulipe Noire's owner, Kari McLay, proudly sits on the board of directors for Dance Victoria, and Tulipe Noire proudly sponsors all the post show receptions.
Dance Victoria brings the world’s best dance to the Royal Theatre and supports the development of new dance from its beautiful studios in Victoria’s Quadra Village. In addition, Dance Victoria presents an annual subscription series at the Royal Theatre.
Tulipe Noire is also a proud supporter of the fundraiser Cherish: A Glamorous Evening of Fashion and Philanthropy, with proceeds supporting Victoria Women's Transition House and Dance Victoria. Cherish 2019 is being held at the Victoria Crystal Gardens. To read more visit Dance Victoria's Cherish 2019 webpage and stay tuned for updates on the next event - you don't want to miss this spectacular night!
Tulipe Noire is proud to be a supporter of the Victoria Mustard Seed! Year round, we have a Mustard Seed bin in front of our store, where we encourage the community to donate any non-perishable food, clothing and personal care products for those in need.
The Mustard Seed Street Church has been essential in fighting hunger and restoring faith to a large portion of people living in poverty, as well as the working poor, in greater Victoria since 1975. The Church ministries are nearly 100 percent community funded and include Vancouver Island’s largest Food Bank, a Family Center, Hospitality programs, and addictions recovery at Hope Farm Healing Centre as well as more traditional Church services.
